Planstin features two flagship base health plans, the Preventive HSA and Preventive Advanced. Both base health plans are MEC compliant, cover preventive care at 100%, include complementary, unlimited telemedicine, and include prescription benefits.
Zion Health is a non-profit HealthShare membership— offered as part of Planstin Health Plans—which is there to step in for large medical events that are not covered by a Planstin base health plan.
A HealthShare is a nonprofit organization that can act as an affordable alternative to traditional health insurance for many individuals. Members of a HealthShare pay monthly contributions that go toward the medical needs of others in their community.
How it works
- When members have a medical need, they are responsible for an initial unsharable amount (IUA) of $1000, $2500, or $5000.
- 100% of eligible medical expenses are shared with the Zion Health community after the IUA is paid.
- Members are responsible for a maximum of 3 IUAs per 12-month period

Ideal for healthy families who want to keep up on their preventive care. The Preventive HSA plan offers free health savings account administration.
PREVENTIVE ADVANCED 01
Plans Start at $290/Month
Best for those who visit the doctor’s office on a regular basis, the Copay Advanced plan offers low copays for common services like specialist visits, urgent care, and lab work.
